APAO sponsored tables where guests could try Japanese origami, Chinese calligraphy
and learn about the health benefits of tea. There were also vendors selling
jewelry and other items. This year, representatives from other NIH groups supported
the event, including the Employee Assistance Program, NIH Federal Credit
Union, PHS APA Commissioned Corps, PHS
scientist professional advisory committee,
NIMHD, NIAMS and NIH R&W. Part of the
proceeds from food and sales will be donated
to the Children’s Inn at NIH.
