NHGRI Conference To Celebrate Work of David Depew

The NHGRI History of Genomics Program will host a 1-day conference, From the “Baldwin Effect” to Genes of Small Effect: Celebrating the Work of David Depew. The event will be held virtually on Thursday, July 29 at 11 a.m. (ET).

Employee Asymptomatic Testing Clinic Changes Hours

The Employee Asymptomatic Testing Clinic on the 5th floor of the CRC has changed its days of operation. Now, employee asymptomatic testing is available only on Tuesday and Friday. The change was made on July 6.

A Jazzy Afternoon at the Clinical Center

Lively jazz reverberated through the halls of the Clinical Research Center on June 10 when the University of Maryland Jazz Combo played a lunchtime concert in the atrium. It was their first return to campus since the pandemic began.

Feds Feed Families Virtual Giving Underway

Now through Tuesday, Aug. 31, NIH is participating in the Feds Feed Families virtual summer food drive. Held annually since 2009, this campaign offers federal agencies the opportunity to fight hunger in their communities.
