‘Week of Making’ Symposium To Feature Fox, June 20

The National Week of Making, June 17-23, celebrates the ingenuity and creativity of the diverse community of inventors in the Maker Movement. Celebrate the National Week of Making at a symposium, “Making Health: Inspiring Innovative Solutions for Research and Clinical Care,” with a special presentation from Susannah Fox, HHS chief technology officer. The symposium will take place Monday, June 20 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Masur Auditorium, Bldg. 10. The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required. The NIH Library will also host several events and training classes highlighting a variety of 3-D printing and modeling software and 3-D printers available for use at the NIH Library. These activities are free and open to NIH and HHS staff and will be held in the library training room, Bldg. 10. Registration is required; visit the web site listed previously.
