The NIH Police hosted the 22nd Police Awareness Day on May 18 in front of Bldg. 1.

Officers talked to employees about their jobs, held educational demonstrations and, of course, grilled chicken, hamburgers and Italian sausages with peppers and onions for attendees.

Officers from several surrounding law enforcement agencies also attended the event. Police Awareness Day is part of National Police Week, which honors police officers killed in the line of duty.
