Overweight Volunteers Needed
Are you 30-65 years old, overweight or obese and have pre-diabetes? NIH obesity researchers want to learn how well a medication called roflumilast improves blood sugar levels in overweight and obese adults who are not diabetic but who have high fasting blood sugar levels (“pre-diabetes”). Study Seeks Healthy Older Adults
NIH researchers are seeking healthy volunteers 55-75 years old for a study about the effects of omega-3 oil and blackcurrant supplementation on heart health. NIAAA Recruits Drinkers
NIAAA invites volunteers, 21-60 years of age, who drink more than 15-20 alcoholic beverages per week to participate in a study researching if a medication reduces drinking. Research participation includes 4 outpatient visits that consist of alcohol self-administration, brain scans (MRI), blood draws and filling out questionnaires. Compensation may be provided.
