Malaria Study Seeks Adults

Researchers at the Clinical Center are recruiting healthy adults, ages 18-50, to undergo an initial assessment to determine if they will qualify for future malaria studies. These studies may involve evaluation of experimental medications, vaccines and vaccine strategies to prevent malaria. Compensation is provided for participation. Study Needs Teen Girls

NICHD seeks adolescent girls above average weight, 12 to 17 years old, to join a study testing whether an attention training program on a smartphone will influence teens’ eating habits. Healthy Children Sought

NIAID Seeks Healthy Volunteers

NIAID study seeks healthy adult volunteers, 18-64 years old. Researchers want to better understand the effects of glucocorticoids on the body. These medications are commonly used to treat conditions that cause inflammation on the skin and in the body like lupus, asthma and eczema. This research may help us find better treatments for people with conditions that cause inflammation. Participants will receive one intravenous dose of a glucocorticoid and a glucocorticoid cream will be applied to a small area of the skin. Blood and skin samples will be collected.
