Safety, Health, Wellness Celebrated

NIH’s 7th annual Safety Health and Wellness Day was held June 27 on the south side of Bldg. 10, drawing smiles and thumbs-up from many participants. The free event included fitness classes and assessments, dance classes, martial arts demonstrations and a dependent and elder care fair. There was also seated massage and virtual reality demonstrations, plus food trucks, information tables and a farmer’s market. The event was sponsored by the Office of Research Services, Office of Research Facilities, NIH occupational safety and health committee, laboratory sustainability group and NIDDK.
