NINDS’s Hallett Honored by AINA and China

Dr. Mark Hallett, chief of the Medical Neurology Branch and the human motor control section in the Division of Intramural Research, NINDS, recently received the Association of Indian Neurologists in America (AINA) Lifetime Achievement Award at the American Academy of Neurology annual meeting in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Corps Receives Presidential Citation for Ebola Response

Active duty and ready reserve Commissioned Corps officers received authorization to wear the Presidential Unit Citation. Radm. Helena Mishoe presided over a special award ceremony to formally present the unit citation to NIH officers.

Rec Therapist, Volunteer Butler Dies

Charles Delmus Butler, 81, a retired recreation therapist at the Clinical Center and long-time campus volunteer, died June 13 after battling multiple cancers over the past few years.

NINDS Mourns Scientist Emeritus Brady

Dr. Roscoe Owen Brady, scientist emeritus and retired chief of the Developmental and Metabolic Neurology Branch, NINDS, died on June 13 after a long battle with cancer. He was 92 years old.
