Take Your Child to Work Day Held Virtually Once Again

NIH’s “Take Your Child To Work Day” (TYCTWD) was held virtually on Apr. 22. The day offered students in grades 1 through 12 an opportunity to experience the diversity of research and careers that makes NIH what it is.

Nerds in Harmony Still Going Strong

“CRISPR Cas-9, bring me a gene …” NIH’s resident acapella group, Nerds in Harmony, recently sang their own version of the Chordettes’s Mr. Sandman in front of a large Christmas tree outside of the Anthropologie in Bethesda. CRISPR Cas-9 wasn’t a typical Christmas carol, but it brought smiles and laughter from the crowd.

NIH Museum Makes a Move

The Office of NIH History & Stetten Museum is moving its object collection to a new storage facility in Gaithersburg. Relocation requires packing up and keeping track of 3,700 items.
