NICHD director Dr. Diana Bianchi accepts the March of Dimes Colonel Harland Sanders Lifetime Achievement Award from Dr. Joe Leigh Simpson, senior vice president at the March of Dimes.

NICHD director Dr. Diana Bianchi recently accepted the March of Dimes Colonel Harland Sanders Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics clinical genomics meeting. Presenting the award was Dr. Joe Leigh Simpson, senior vice president at the March of Dimes.

A pioneer in the field of prenatal genomics, Bianchi also directs a laboratory at NHGRI.
