Home Test to Treat Extends Nationwide

The Home Test to Treat program has extended free at-home testing, telehealth and treatment for both Covid-19 and influenza to eligible people. It is the first public health program that includes home testing technology at such a scale for both Covid-19 and flu.

The program is offered by Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx) initiative at NIH, with support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Health and Human Services’ Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response. The program launched as a pilot in select locations in 2023.
