NINR’s Saligan Participates in Wreath-Laying

Dr. Leorey Saligan, chief of the symptom biology unit in NINR’s Division of Intramural Research and captain in the Public Health Service, participated in the Military Health System Nurses Week wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery’s nurses’ memorial on May 7. He was representing Radm. Susan Orsega, chief nurse officer of the PHS. Also participating in the wreath-laying were Col. Melissa J. Hoffman, deputy chief, Army Nurse Corps; Maj. Gen. Dorothy Hogg, deputy surgeon general and chief, Air Force Nurse Corps; Dr. Carol Romano, rear admiral (ret.), dean, Daniel K. Inouye Graduate School of Nursing at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences; and Capt. Deborah Roy, deputy director, Navy Nurse Corps.
