NIDA To Host Seminar on Stimulant Use and HIV

Join NIDA’s HIV Research Program for a virtual seminar, “Outside In and Inside Out: Neuroimmune Mechanisms Linking Stimulant Use and HIV,” on Wednesday, Jan. 25 from 1 to 2 p.m. ET. The talk features Dr. Adam Carrico, director, division of prevention science and community health, and a professor at the University of Miami.

Carrico is a leading clinical health psychologist with expertise in the interdisciplinary field of psychoneuroimmunology. His presentation will review a variety of findings related to the connection between stimulant use and HIV, including results from NIDA-funded studies.
