WALS Talk Reunites Longtime Colleagues

Dr. Ramanujan “Manu” Hegde, now at the United Kingdom’s Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology, returned to NIH for the first time in 12 years to deliver “How Cells Make Membrane Proteins,” a Wednesday Afternoon Lecture Series talk on June 14.

A former member of the NCI Scholars Program, Hegde was until 2011 a principal investigator in what was then known as the Cell Biology and Metabolism Program at NICHD.
