New CC Exhibit Honors Nobelist Alter

New exhibit in the Clinical Center honors 2020 Nobelist Dr. Harvey Alter.

“Harvey Alter and the Discovery of Hepatitis C: Making Our Blood Supply Safe,” a new exhibit, is now on view in the central corridor of the Magnuson portion of the Clinical Center, near the FAES coffee shop. A ceremony and reception to mark its official opening had been set for Sept. 7, but will now be rescheduled for a later date, due to unforeseen circumstances.

Speakers include NIH Acting Director Dr. Lawrence Tabak, Clinical Center CEO Dr. James Gilman and Alter.
