NICHD’s Stratakis Honored

NICHD scientific director Dr. Constantine Stratakis

NICHD scientific director Dr. Constantine Stratakis was named the 2019 Society for Endocrinology (SfE) Dale Medal winner.

He was honored for his significant contributions to the field of genetics of pituitary and adrenocortical tumors and related disorders, most recently identifying genes responsible for gigantism, acromegaly and Cushing syndrome.

This is the highest honor accorded by the SfE.
