NIH Leaders, OD Staff Serve Dinner at the Children’s Inn

Several NIH leaders and staff from the Office of the Director served dinner on Nov. 29 for patients and families at the Children’s Inn at NIH. The cuisine for the night was Italian and the menu featured pizza, lasagna, baked ziti, salad and cookies. The guest servers volunteered as part of the inn’s Family Dinner Program, a resident favorite. Volunteer-hosted family dinners typically take place twice a week between Monday and Thursday. Individuals as well as community groups of up to 12 people ages 18 and older are invited to participate in the program.
