Global health was on the menu at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF)-NIH 6th annual consultative workshop held Dec. 19-20 on campus.

At a reception and dinner held at the Cloisters on the night before the workshop, NIH director Dr. Francis Collins entertains on guitar, accompanied by pianist Dr. Chris Karp, director of global health discovery and translational sciences at BMGF. 

Serving as panelists at the workshop were incoming BMGF CEO Dr. Mark Suzman, Adm. Brett Giroir, HHS assistant secretary for health, Collins, Karp and NIAID director Dr. Anthony Fauci.
