Dr. Michael F. Chiang, director of the National Eye Institute, will present “Artificial Intelligence, Ophthalmology…and Being an Asian-American Clinician-Scientist,” the 2022 Kuan-Teh Jeang Memorial Lecture on Thursday, May 26 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. ET.

Dr. K.T. Jeang, virologist and chief of the molecular virology section of NIAID’s Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology, advocated for the advancement of Asian-American scientists. He died in 2013.

The annual lecture, which celebrates his legacy, is cosponsored by the Office of Intramural Research and the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
