Volkow Speaks, Receives Honorary Degree at UMBC

On May 23, NIDA director Dr. Nora Volkow delivered the commencement address at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Her speech honored graduates of the College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences, the College of Engineering and Information Technology and the Individualized Studies Program. In her address, Volkow inspired students to pursue career paths in the sciences.
