New South Entry to CC Takes Shape

The new South Entry to the Clinical Center is taking shape as steel beams form its frame. Rough grading (above, foreground) of the roadway up to the new front door is complete and work continues on the main lobby, cafeteria roof and passageways to the innards of the 45-year-old hospital. Below, many tons of structural steel are visible as the entry is grafted onto Bldg. 10. The driveway, when complete, will sweep beneath a covered portico.
