NIH recently honored acting assistant secretary for health and acting surgeon general Radm. Steven K. Galson and Office of Surgeon General staff at an NIH Commissioned Corps all-hands meeting. The gathering was a unique opportunity to hear about public health priorities for the country, new initiatives for Corps recruitment and retention, transformation, the Corps expectation of officers, deployment and other related topics. The meeting was followed by a Q&A session and light refreshments. NIHRecord Icon
